The cyber information war with Russia and China became official in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

The modern war is based on information manipulation, with the infiltration of social media and digital communications and the creation of fake news.

How did this happen? How did we not know it was happening?

The war is not new, it started almost 50 years ago. The United States has gifted our adversaries the opportunities to undermine American democracy.

All it takes today, is to shift policies and the  psychology of American citizens and government  just a couple of percentage points, all within the margin of error. The battles and wars that used to take years to wage can now be conducted in hours or minutes.

How did we start this war? How did our adversaries exploit our weaknesses? Why was the US distracted and negligent?

The Margin of Error War is the tale of what happened, who did it, how it was both ignored and yet encouraged by the US. Now that we know, what we going to do about it?

We have one more chance to reverse years of history before the 2020 election.
